Rest Easy Winston, Our Sweetest Boy

Winston crossed the Rainbow Bridge today, and while we are heartbroken, we find peace in knowing that he was made whole again, out of pain, and is running like the wind! He was a silly boy with an amazing spirit and happiness, and loved us with his whole heart. He is forever held close in our hearts.

We thank the Tripawd’s community for all of your support over the past 15 months.

  3. Shelly & family,
Our deepest condolences go out to you, we are heartbroken. Sweet Winston, he was such a fighter and brilliant inspiration of life after amputation. He’s an angel now, but your boy’s life will forever be a part of our community. His legacy continues forever.

Please know we are keeping you all in our hearts, and hope that in time you find comfort in all of the happy times you shared with your heart dog. He was truly, unforgettably, special.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss and I have the deepest condolences for you. Like always, you look at the glass half full.
Winston is such a special pup, and you are right. He is pain free flying with glee amongst all of our Angels.
I am so sad that he had to go… but he will watch over you. Look for the signs. Fleeting moments, seeing him out of the corner of your eye, or maybe you will be lucky enough for him to leave you a penny or a dime on the sidewalk.
Many hugs and much love to all of you.

  5. I am sorry for your loss. Run free Winston. Watch for signs and Winston will be giving them. This is the hardest part of our journey because grief is so individual. No one can tell you when the hurt will end.
